Child soldiers in Sri Lanka

Reportedly, the Tamil Tigers were supported by the USA and its allies.

A December 1983 Sunday Mail article reported that Mossad was arming and training the Tigers.

And, the British Special Air Services (SAS) firm Keenie Meenie Services was reportedly training the Tamil Tigers. (Southern India, Sri Lanka terrorist groups)

On 23 October 2009, at Global research, Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya wrote about the Great Power Confrontation in the Indian Ocean: The Geo-Politics of the Sri Lankan Civil War

Among the points made:

1. India, the USA, Australia, UK, Japan, Canada, and the European Union supported the Tamil Tigers.

2. Iran, Russia, China and others supported the Sri Lankan government.

3. Chinese military ties with Sri Lanka started in the 1990s.

In 2007, Sri Lanka agreed to China building a massive naval port at Hambantota.

Thus Sri Lanka fell out with the USA and India.

4. The USA wants to encircle China and to prevent it from building bases outside Chinese territory.

5. After 2007, the USA cut its military assistance to the Sri Lankan military.

And Indian support for the Tamil Tigers increased.

6. After 2007, China began sending large arms shipments to Sri Lanka.

7. According to Brahma Chellaney of the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi, India: "China’s arms sales (were) the decisive factor in ending the military stalemate [in the Sri Lankan Civil War."

8. Sri Lankan leaders and military officials visited Iran, Russia and China in 2007 and 2008.

China, Russia, and Iran all helped arm the Sri Lankan military before the last phase of the Sri Lankan Civil War.

9. Russian, China, and Iran all face their own separatist movements like Sri Lanka.

All four nations see these movements as being supported by outside players.

10. Russia's Colonel-General Vladimir Moltenskoy acted as a military advisor to Colombo.

11. Sri Lanka is situated on a vital sea lane in the Indian Ocean.

The Chinese naval port at Hambantota is part of the struggle to secure energy routes.

Most of the energy supplies going to Asia pass Sri Lanka.

China wants a chain of naval bases in the Indian Ocean to protect energy supplies coming from the Middle East and Africa.

Myanmar (Burma) is also part of this project.

Iran wants to protect the sea routes between itself and China.

12. In 2009, Sri Lanka joined the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as a dialogue partner. The SCO includes China and Russia.

13. If there had been a Tamil state it would most likely have been allied to the USA and India and might have had US military bases.

Benjamin Netanyahu said that he was warned by Scotland Yard not to leave his London hotel-room, on the morning of 7 July 2005. (Cached)

Bombs went off on the London Underground on 7 July 2005.

On 8 July 2005, Police Commissioner Ian Blair "made a slip-up, on camera, when he said that there were four bombers." (The Truth About The London 7-7 Bombings.)

On 12 July 2005 the Police identified the images of the four alleged bombers at Luton and King’s Cross stations. (What happened after the 7th July bombings in London : Timeline)

The following is fiction.

Ian Bean, a former top London policeman, has written a remarkable and controversial book.

Mr Bean praises the two officers who shot dead an innocent Brazilian on the London underground.

'The two officers took part in the killing of an entirely innocent man,' said Bean. "This was necessary.

"I believe that Operation Gladio was an essential part of keeping the right people in power.

"On 22 November 1990 the European Parliament stupidly passed a resolution condemning Gladio.

"But, the great Leo Strauss teaches that 'perpetual deception of the citizens by those in power is critical because they need to be led, and they need strong rulers to tell them what's good for them.'"

Elsewhere, Mr Bean reveals that on the day of the 7/7 bombings in London, he worried that he might have sent his own son 'to his death'.

"I had told him to travel by bus," said Bean. "But then, of course, I realised he was not going to be anywhere near Tavistock Square."

"My 16-year-old son was doing work experience at Rupert Murdoch's Sun newspaper," explained Bean. "Everyone keeps in with Murdoch. They say Murdoch's career took off when he became pals Ted Shackley, the CIA station chief in Australia."

On the day of 9/11, Mr Bean's boss, Sir John Stevens, was on a plane to the United States. "I wonder how much he knew," said Bean.

Bean remembers the Forest Gate arrests, in London, when one man was accidentally shot and hundreds of police deployed during an unsuccessful anti-terror raid. "Operation Gladio is the key," comments Bean.

Bean remembers that after the London 7/7 bombings, Mohammed Sidique Khan stated in a video that "Your democratically elected governments continuously perpetuate atrocities against people all over the world." According to Bean, "Khan was totally correct."

Mr Bean remembers standing in the carriage where the bomb exploded on 7/7.

"A huge hole had been ripped in the floor," said Bean.

"The metal around the hole was pointing upwards.

"This had been caused by a bomb in a rucksack.

"Witnesses and rescue workers on the trains said the bomb was under the carriage because of the metal sticking up. But witnesses, if you remember Lockerbie, can be mistaken.

"All of us felt that Al Qaeda was to blame and that we were therefore quite justified in invading Iraq and taking away people's freedoms."

And what about Jean Charles de Menezes, the innocent Brazilian shot dead on the underground train?

De menezes travelled to the underground train station on foot and by bus.

According to Mr Bean, "Police Commander Cressida Dick rejected the possibility of confronting de Menezes on the bus as much too dangerous.

"So de Menezes was shot dead on the crowded underground train.

"De Menezes was entirely innocent of any wrongdoing connected to terrorism and yet he was shot and killed by the Metropolitan Police.

"We claimed he was a terrorist with a bomb.

"This reinforced the idea that we need a war on terror.

"Unfortunately we got found out."

Mr Bean has links to the USA.

He won a scholarship to an institution in Hollywood.

Britain's security service, MI6

On 8 October 2009, MI5's Jewish terrorism fear was reported on by The Jewish Chronicle

The Jewish Chronicle tells us that in his new book about Britain's security services, The Defence of the Realm, Professor Chistopher Andrew quotes one MI5 section head, John Marriot, as saying in 1955 that "our policy is to avoid recruiting Jews if possible."

Andrew's book has one chapter on the threat from Jewish terrorists, such as the Irgun and Stern Gang which carried out attacks on British troops in Palestine.

In 1947 the Colonial Office in London was targeted by a Stern Gang bomb.

In 1947, the Stern Gang sent letter bombs to British politicians.

In 1947, grenades and detonators were discovered, by his chauffeur, in the boot of the car of Harry Isaac Presman of north London.
Professor Andrew relates how British spy Kim Philby, one of the five Cambridge spies who worked for Russia, was recruited for the KGB by Arnold Deutsch, a Jew.

In the 1970s MI5 was worried about the Jewish business cronies of Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Joseph Kagan, Rudy Sternberg and Harry Kissin.

Kagan was linked to a KGB officer.

Victor Rothschild joined MI5 during the Second World War. In 1940 Rothschild suggested that Anthony Blunt should be invited to join the secret service. He also rented a house to his friend Guy Burgess. After the liberation of France Rothschild worked with Dick White, Kim Philby and Malcolm Muggeridge at the MI6 offices established at the Rothschild family mansion in Paris. Edward Heath, in 1970, appointed him head of the government's Central Policy Review Staff. Later Margaret Thatcher appointed Rothschild as her unofficial security adviser.

In The Defence of the Realm, by Christopher Andrew we are told that until 1997 recruitment for the UK security services was based on personal recommendation.

That could mean fascists choosing their fascist friends; or Zionists choosing their Zionist friends.

We are led to believe that "right up to the mid-1970s, the post-war Service refused to recruit Jews on the grounds that a dual loyalty to both Britain and Israel might create a conflict of interest." (The Defence of the Realm by Christopher Andrew )

This is misleading.

In 1951, the security services discovered that five of their top employees, recruited at Cambridge University in the 1930s, were spies for the Soviet Union, a country which exchanged secrets with Israel.

At least one of the 'Cambridge Five' had links to Israel.

Reportedly, Kim Philby was assisted in obtaining safe haven in the Soviet Union by the Israeli Mossad (cf. Sunday Telegraph, April 16, 1989) Cached; Lord Victor Rothschild was allegedly one of the Cambridge spies; Guy Burgess was close to Rothschild.

According to ex-KGB Colonel 'F' and KGB officer Yuri Modin, Victor Rothschild was the key to most of the Cambridge ring's penetration of British Intelligence.

According to Roland Perry, in his book The Fifth Man: "Burgess, at MI6 (and still on a retainer from Rothschild) recommended Philby for a job in Section D of MI6.

"Rothschild, who had helped nudge Burgess into his position before the war, had been in turn recommended to MI5 by Burgess."

"'Rothschild had the contacts,' Modin noted. 'He was able to introduce Burgess, Blunt and others to important figures in Intelligence such as Stewart Menzies, Dick White and Robert Vansittart, the Permanent Under-secretary of State in the Foreign Office, who controlled MI6.'"

According to Perry, Rothschild "made sure Russia's scientists had the basics of every secret project from biological warfare to radar and the various types of potential nuclear bomb."

Soon after Israel was formed, Rothschild was allegedly involved with Chaim Weizmann in setting up a special nuclear physics department in a scientific institute in Rehovoth.

In 1957, French engineers began building a nuclear reactor at Dimona on the edge of the Negev Desert.

Perry believes that while "MI5 inventions and technical advances went on, Rothschild kept in contact with the key figures and digested the reports.

"This, coupled with his close contact with Dick White, other intelligence chiefs, Wright and the heads of the key research facilities in everything from weapons to radar, meant that Rothschild understood better than anyone in MI6 or MI5 every aspect of British Intelligence, from technical developments to their application in the field..."

In 1972, Rothschild played a major part in choosing the new head of MI5, Michael Hanley.

According to the controversial Eustace Mullins (CHAPTER FIVE - The CIA - 3):

While CIA station chief in Rome, the CIA's Angleton "worked closely with the Zionist terrorists Teddy Kollek and Jacob Meridor, and later became chief of the Israeli desk at the CIA, helping Philby to set up the lavishly funded international Mossad espionage operation, all paid for by American taxpayers.

"A senior CIA security official, C. Edward Petty, later reported that Angleton might be a Soviet penetration agent or mole, but President Gerald Ford suppressed the report.

"Top secret files of the CIA and FBI were opened to Philby, despite widespread claims that he was a Soviet agent.

"Although he helped Burgess and MacLean defect to Russia in 1951, he continued to work for SIS until 1956, under the protection of Harold MacMillan, who defended him publicly in parliamentary debate.

"In 1962 and Englishwoman at a party in Israel said, “As usual Kim is doing what his Russian Control tells him. I know that he always worked for the Reds.”

"Miles Copeland says that Philby placed a mole in deep cover in the CIA known as “Mother”. Philby was quoted as saying, “Foreign agencies spying on the U.S. Government know exactly what one person in the CIA wants them to know, no more and no less.”

"Philby was finally exposed by a defector, Michael Goleniewski.

"On Jan. 23, 1963, Philby left Beirut and defected to Moscow, where he became a Lt. Gen. in the KGB.

"On June 10, 1984, Tad Szulc wrote in the Washington Post that Philby was never a Soviet agent, according to CIA memoranda introduced in a lawsuit, but that he was a triple agent.

"This explains curious paradoxes in the supposed rivalry between the CIA and the KGB, when certain charmed souls float easily back and forth between the two services.

"Agents of either service are “eliminated” when they find out more than is good for them about this odd arrangement."

1. The elite like to be able to rig elections.

Alex weir, a Scottish software developer, invented 'a fraud-proof voting system'. (Scottish inventor of fraud proof voting system.)

Weir tried to get the support of UK Defence Minister Des Browne for ‘his’ voting system. (Kilmaurs man's voting system stalled by government experts ...)

Weir believes there is evidence that the security services tried to kill him. (UK Gov failed to assassinate Scottish inventor. / 'had death threats'.)

Reportedly, "MI6 2007 ... tried (unsuccessfully) to assassinate the Scottish inventor of a fraud proof voting system ...over a 2 week period in Conakry, Beirut, Aleppo and Nairobi." (Top secret: A century of British espionage)

Phil Shiner

2. Police have investigated death threats made against Phil Shiner, the British human rights lawyer who represented the family of Baha Mousa.

Shiner claims to be the victim of a hate campaign stirred up by the UK Ministry of Defence.

Shiner said: "My life has been threatened and, as some of these threats emanate from the suburbs of Birmingham where my children live, I am very concerned for their welfare too. I call on the Ministry of Defence to stop this behaviour and I say for the record that if anything happens to me, my family or my staff, it will be held entirely responsible". (Army victims' lawyer 'had death threats'.)

Andrew Gilligan

3. Former BBC chief Greg Dyke accused the UK Government of "trying to kill" Andrew Gilligan, the journalist who, with the help of Dr David Kelly, revealed the truth about the dodgy dossier on Iraq. (Richard Sambrook.)

4. There is evidence that Dr David Kelly did not kill himself.

The Daily Mail has asked: Did MI5 kill the UK Government weapons expert Dr David Kelly?

5. Ex-spy Richard Tomlinson told the Princess Diana inquest that he saw an MI6 plan to trigger a tunnel death crash just like the one that killed Diana. (Princess Diana Inquest I saw MI6 plan for tunnel death crash ...)

6. In October 2009, The Independent (UK) told us about an attempt to assassinate Egypt's President Nasser (Top secret: A century of British espionage)

UK prime minister Anthony Eden wanted a solution to the “Nasser problem”.

Reportedly, an MI6 spy told the then-MI5 chief, Dick White: “Look, old boy, we really will have to do something about this fellow Nasser. Maybe we’ll have to get rid of him.”

MI6 consulted an 88-page CIA manual called “Assassination Methods”. Meanwhile, the Q department was tasked with finding a way to do the job that could not be traced back to Britain.

Nasser’s weakness for the popular Egyptian Knopje chocolates was seized upon and a dozen boxes were sent to Q department for experiments.

The team under Frank Quinn – later the inspiration for Fleming’s “Q” – also acquired an odourless shellfish toxin from Britain’s chemical and biological warfare labs at Porton Down.

Quinn developed a way to heat the base of the chocolates so that they became detached, allowing for the injection of the poison. A box of toxic chocolates was handed over but never used.

When Eden rejected a new plot to pump nerve gas into Nasser’s air conditioning system, Quinn suggested a CIA-designed box of cigarettes containing a poisoned dart.

Dr Ladell, a scientist at Porton Down nicknamed “The Sorcerer”, had tested the dart on sheep. “[The animal] begins to buckle at the knees and it starts to roll its eyes, froths at the mouth,” his report reads. “Slowly the animal sinks to the ground, its life draining away.”

Nasser would be spared this fate, too – Quinn feared the dart could be traced. Israeli intelligence stepped in with a plan to poison Nasser’s coffee by tainting his artificial sweetener.

7. Reportedly, Dr Stephen Ward, who was involved in the Profumo scandal, was murdered by the security services.

Ward had an MI5 controller, Keith Wagstaffe (cover-name 'Woods').

Reportedly, Sir Colin Coote, Editor of the Daily Telegraph and a former officer in the Secret Intelligence Service, was responsible for introducing Ward to Russian spy Ivanov at the behest of his old service. (PROFUMO, John - Spy School Bios)

According to an article in The Independent (Top secret: A century of British espionage), the British government used Ward "as a 'back channel' during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis between London and Moscow."

The new official history of the Security Service by Professor Christopher Andrew reveals that Ward was used by the UK government to pass messages from the Soviet embassy to the Foreign Secretary.

In 1987 Anthony Summers and Stephen Dorril published their book on the Stephen Ward case, Honeytrap. (Stephen Ward - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

The authors were contacted by a former MI6 officer who claimed that Ward was murdered by a contract agent called Stanley Rytter, whose cover was as a freelance journalist and photographer.

Summers and Dorril investigated the allegation and got the story confirmed by one of his associates, Serge Paplinski.

The intelligence officer then went on to say: "It was decided that Ward had to die.... He admitted (Rytter) that Ward was killed on the instructions of his department." (Stephen Ward - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

8. Reportedly the UK security services did NOT want to kill Adolf Hitler.

Agent Zigzag was Eddie Chapman, a safe-cracker, who was in prison in Jersey (UK) when the Nazis invaded the Channel Islands in 1940.

Chapman was recruited by German intelligence and parachuted into Britain.

He defected to Britain's MI5.

The Independent continues the story. (Top secret: A century of British espionage)

"Chapman told Ronnie Reed, his case officer, that his German spymaster had offered to place him near Hitler’s podium at a Nazi rally.

"Disguised as a German officer, Chapman would blow up the Fuhrer."

Chapman's offer was rejected by MI5.

9. MI6 officer George Blake, whose father was Jewish, was secretly working for the Russians.

A Polish defector claimed Blake had caused the deaths of 40 British agents.

The Government tried to cover up Blake’s treachery.

In 1961, Blake was sent to jail.

But he was able to escape to Moscow. (Top secret: A century of British espionage)

One might wonder if Blake had friends in Mossad.

10. IRA man Denis Donaldson secretly worked for British intelligence.

He built republican links with European terrorist groups including Eta. (Top secret: A century of British espionage)

He was found shot dead in 2006.

The British security services seem to have decided to try to discredit the Nationalists by getting them involved in acts of violence.

Roy McShane and Freddie Scappaticci (Stakeknife) were key members of the IRA’s internal security (counter-intelligence) unit.

McShane was implicated in the murder of West German industrialist Thomas Niedermayer in December 1973.

Scappaticci reportedly took part in the murders of a number of people accused of informing against the IRA. (Freddie Scappaticci - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Denis Donaldson was head of Sinn Fein's administration at Stormont.

Donaldson and McShane were key aides of Gerry Adams.

Sean O'Callaghan was at one time IRA southern commander.

Kevin Fulton has described how he worked for the IRA in the job of upgrading IRA bomb-making technology.

Martin McGartland worked inside the IRA's Belfast brigade.

It has now been revealed that McShane, Scappaticci, Donaldson, O'Callaghan, Fulton and McGartland were all working for the British security services.

Guinea, formerly known as French Guinea, has bauxite and the drugs trade.

Captain Moussa Dadis Camara is head of the military junta that currently runs Guinea. (BBC Country profile: Guinea)

Reportedly, the junta is trying to crack down on the drugs trade.

Reportedly there are now Colombian paramilitary and secret service agents in neighbouring Sierra Leone. (Don't attack Guinea- Courrier des lecteurs)

Reportedly, certain people are trying to overthrow the Government of President Moussa Dadis Camara in Guinea.

Reportedly, three foreign nationals from the US , Cuba and Colombia, caught in a cocaine plane episode in Sierra Leone, are agents of the CIA, based in Miami. (Don't attack Guinea- Courrier des lecteurs)

The government banned a demonstration organised for 28 September 2009 in Conakry, the capital of Guinea.

But 'several political parties, trade unions and civic organisations' went ahead with the event.

Demonstrators set a police station and a police car ablaze

Riot police charged the protesters. (At least 58 killed in Guinea anti-junta protest)

In October 2009, some Guineans were on strike to remember the dozens of protesters 'killed by soldiers' during a rally on 28 September 2009.

On 19 September 2008, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met with Harouna Berete, Special Envoy of Guinea

Reportedly, Guinea has agreed a big mining and oil deal with China. (Guinea and China 'agree big deal')

Mines minister Mahmoud Thiam says a Chinese company will invest more than $7bn (£4.5bn) in infrastructure.

The company will be a "strategic partner" in all mining projects in Guinea.

If the junta is trying to crack down on the drugs trade, it will make some powerful enemies.

Hillary Clinton has declared that the Guinean military junta "cannot remain in power." (Clinton Condemns Guinea Violence)

The leader of Guinea's new military government should be put on trial for crimes against humanity, the EU's development chief, Karel de Gucht, has told reporters. (Guinea ruler 'must face charges' )

The president of West Africa's economic bloc, Ecowas, has criticised the junta.

There are 'widespread calls' for the junta leader Captain Moussa Dadis Camara to step down.

The Chinese firm that intends to invest in Guinea is said to be the Hong Kong registered China International Fund.

Reportedly the firm will help build ports, railway lines, power plants and low-cost housing.

Guinea is thought to have the world's largest reserves of the aluminium ore, bauxite.

Captain Moussa Dadis Camara is Guinea's popular new leader.

Dadis took power in a bloodless coup after the previous ruler, Lansana Conté, died in December 2008.

Lansana Conte had been put into power in 1984 by a Western/CIA backed military coup. (Captain Moussa Dadis Camara and the future of Guinea-Conaky)

Under Lansana Conte, there were continuing problems of poverty, unemployment, tribalism, interrupted electricity supply, lack of clean drinking water, lack of decent health centres and schools, and lack of decent roads. (Captain Moussa Dadis Camara and the future of Guinea-Conaky)

Now things have changed.

Dadis personally interviews alleged drug dealers and corrupt politicians from the previous regime, live on television.

Ousmane Conté, a son of the previous president, was seen on TV confessing that he had been part of a drug-smuggling ring.

Several former ministers and a prime minister have agreed to give back money that went missing when they were in power.

Dadis is very popular in Guinea, but may not be popular with the CIA or the drugs barons.

The Americans murdered Mountbatten and Thatcher's friend Airey Neave?

Mountbatten was killed by a bomb in 1979.

In an interview with The Guardian on 9 January 1984, former UK government minister Enoch Powell claimed that the Americans murdered Lord Mountbatten and Margaret Thatcher's friend Airey Neave.

"The Mountbatten murder was a high-level 'job' not unconnected with the nuclear strategy of the United States" (Guardian 9th January 1984). Mountbatten was said to be in favour of nuclear disarmament.

Powell claimed the evidence came from a member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary with whom he had a conversation. (Simon Heffer, Like the Roman: The Life of Enoch Powell, 1999, p. 881.)

Lord Mountbatten was rumoured to have been a visitor to Northern Ireland's Kincora children's home which "was run as a virtual gay brothel by loyalist leaders and MI5." (Lord Mountbatten linked to Kincora child - united kingdom)(aangirfan: Child abuse at the Kincora boys' home)

12 October 1984 bomb - Grand Hotel Brighton

In the USA, in November 1982, five men were acquitted of smuggling arms to the IRA after they revealed that the CIA had approved the shipment.[98]

On 12 October 1984, a bomb went off at the Grand Hotel in Brighton, England.

The bomb, planted by Patrick Magee, a member of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA), was intended to kill Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her cabinet, who were staying at the hotel for the Conservative Party conference.

The Irish National Liberation Army was a rival to the Official IRA, and may have been set up in order to weaken the Nationalist cause.

There is a theory that many of the Irish terror groups were Mafias run by elements of the CIA and MI6. It was all about making money from drugs and guns.

Kevin Fulton, a former British soldier claimed that he had flown to New York, met FBI and MI5 agents and was given money to buy an infra-red device to be used to set off IRA bombs. (Congress probes 'IoS' revelations on IRA link.)

The INLA murdered 113 people in the 80s and 90s.

Neave was murdered in 1979.

When Margaret Thatcher's close friend Airey Neave was assassinated in 1979, in a car-bomb attack at a House of Commons carpark, the Irish National Liberation Army (INLA) was among the groups that claimed responsibility for the assassination.

Journalist Paul Routledge, in his book Public Servant Secret Agent, floated the idea that Neave was killed by people within MI6 and the CIA.

In 2002, Journalist Paul Donovan wrote, in the Irish Democrat, about "A tangled web of intrigue"

According to Donovan:

1. Neave sought to clean up the corruption within the security services.

2. Neave was killed by a bomb. Gerald James, former chief of the armaments firm Astra Holdings, wrote that the mercury switch on the bomb was only available to the CIA at the time.

3. Enoch Powell claimed that the CIA wanted a united Ireland within NATO.

Former UK cabinet minister Tony Benn, who supports nuclear disarmament and has publicly supported Sinn Féin and the unification of Ireland

From Wikipedia we learn:

UK politician Tony Benn records in his diary (17 February 1981) that a journalist from the New Statesman, Duncan Campbell, told him that he had received information from an intelligence agent two years previously that Neave had planned to have Benn assassinated if there was a possibility that Benn might be elected Labour Party Leader.

The New Statesman printed the story on 20 February 1981, naming the agent as Lee Tracey.

Tracey claimed to have met Neave and was asked to join a team of intelligence and security specialists which would "make sure Benn was stopped". Tracey planned a second meeting with Neave but Neave was killed before they could meet again.[8]

Kevin Cahill, an Irish investigative journalist, claims Neave was on the verge of a massive overhaul of the security services, possibly involving a merger of MI5 and MI6 and arising from his belief in corruption in the security services.

Cahill suggests a link between Neave's murder and Sir Richard Sykes' murder and the attempted murder of Christopher Tugendhat in December 1980.

Cahill claims that Neave would have been head of the combined security services with Sykes and Tugendhat as his deputies, with Sykes responsible for foreign operations and Tugendhat responsible for home operations.

Cahill concluded that Neave was murdered by MI6 agents working with the CIA because Neave sought to prosecute senior figures in the intelligence establishment for corruption.[9]

On 18 October 1986 Enoch Powell returned to the subject of Neave's death in a speech to Conservative students in Birmingham.

He told them that INLA had not killed Neave, but that he had been assassinated by "MI6 and their friends".

Powell claimed Neave's Northern Ireland policy had been one of integration with the rest of the UK.

His murder, alleged Powell, was intended to make the British Government adopt a policy more acceptable to America in her aim of a united Ireland within NATO.[11]
